He will take an anamnesis (= questioning about your complaints), an inspection, provocative tests and a clinical examination in order to identify the complaints in order to draw up a personal treatment plan for the patient. Not to be forgotten at your first session !!!: identity card, sticker, health insurance, doctor's prescription and any diagnostic material (RX, MRI, ECHO…). Tip: it is best to wear comfortable clothes when you visit a physiotherapist, keep in mind that you will perform exercises.

Payments are made with bankcontact / payconiq / bankcontact app after each treatment.

A physiotherapy session is always partly reimbursed by your health insurance company if you are in possession of a doctor's prescription. The amount of reimbursement for a physiotherapy session depends on the clinical picture you have:

In other words, you are entitled to 3 X 18 turns for different conditions (eg back, ankle, knee).

  • F pathologists (after surgery or immobilization…): up to 60 sessions per prescription. - An unlimited number of prescriptions are always possible with reimbursement per pathology. - the first 60 sessions at the normal reimbursement rate. - from 61st at the reduced reimbursement rate.

Physiotherapy: 28 €

Deconvention

The convention is an agreement between the NIHDI, the health insurance companies, the insurance institutions and the professional association that sets the rates for fees and reimbursement. Professional association Axxon recommends deconvention, as this is the only way to obtain fair remuneration and to be able to continue to guarantee quality. Different practices in the environment follow the same opinion and make the same decision. After all, it cannot be the intention that everyone looks for detours and focuses more on quantity by treating more patients per hour or charging more turns. As a patient, that will not improve you at all!

Prenatal physiotherapy and pregnancy counseling

Advice for a smooth pregnancy

The physiotherapist guides and supports you throughout the pregnancy. She provides advice on how to get through the pregnancy more smoothly, such as posture advice, pelvic floor muscle exercises, ...

Treatment of pregnancy-related discomfort

You can go for a variety of pregnancy-related physical discomforts such as pelvic complaints, back complaints, pain in the ribs, urine leakage

Preparing for childbirth

Spinning Babies: This method consists of exercises to balance the pelvis and create space in the abdomen and pelvis. The baby can then descend more easily into the ideal 'starting position' for birth. It can prevent stargazing or non-progressive dilation.

When the pelvis is in balance, the baby has room to turn into position and through the birth canal ('spin').

There are also postures that encourage a breech baby to turn. They stretch and relax the muscles and ligaments, which can provide just the space the baby needs to lie down properly.

Preparation for labor

During one or two extensive individual sessions together with your partner, you will be prepared for work. You will be taught different postures that help to handle the labor pains. You will learn more about proper breathing techniques. The partner is given tips on how to play an active helping role during work.

Preparation for labor

You will be taught pressing techniques to adequately expel the baby and at the same time protect the pelvis, pelvic floor and the baby during delivery. Different starting positions are discussed.

Postnatale kinesitherapie

Pelvic rehabilitation

Pelvic rehabilitation is the physiotherapy treatment of pelvic problems in women, men and children.

You can contact us for the individual treatment of problems such as exercise-related loss of urine (urinary stress incontinence), urge incontinence (urge incontinence), slight prolapse of the bladder, uterus and intestines, constipation, loss of stool, bedwetting, pain during sexual relations, rehabilitation after ( radical) prostatectomy etc.

Pain complaints in the pelvic region may also indicate weakness or overactivity of the pelvic floor muscles.

We also offer an extensive and specialized process for pregnant women and young mothers.

Baby massage

Baby massage is just really nice to do in the first place, because almost every baby loves to be caressed, massaged and cuddled. Massage not only satisfies a baby's intense need to be touched, but it also provides an opportunity to get to know each other better. It gives the baby peace and security and helps to learn to discover his / her body.

Why

Baby massage is relaxing for parent and child

Baby massage helps with colic and other discomfort

Baby massage stimulates a child's motor development

Practical information

We work in groups of a maximum of 4 babies so that there is sufficient time and space for personal guidance

A session lasts about an hour

shock en dry

Shockwave

Do you suffer from tennis elbow? A heel spur? Or are you dealing with a chronic injury? Then physiotherapy with shockwave therapy can certainly help you. Thanks to the shock waves, your injury is treated effectively and your chronic pain is relieved!

Shockwave therapy is suitable for various physical complaints, such as:

  • Tennis elbow or golfer's elbow

  • Neck pain, shoulder pain, or back pain

  • A heel spur

  • Chronic pain in the sole of the foot

  • Long-term tendon problems, eg Achilles tendon

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a treatment technique in which a very thin needle is inserted into the skin and muscle. This technique is extremely effective for treating myofascial pain and trigger points. What are trigger points?

Trigger points are painful hardening in the muscles that no longer relax. A trigger point can cause movement restrictions, stiffness, loss of strength and pain. A muscle is made up of separate muscle fibers. In a normal resting position, a muscle fiber is neither stretched nor contracted. When there is a trigger point in the muscle, it appears that the muscle fibers in the resting state are more contracted at certain points than in the surrounding area. The muscle tension is therefore higher at these points and the muscle fibers remain contracted even at rest. This creates a local thickening with poor blood circulation, causing waste to accumulate. A trigger point can be seen as a muscle knot: a bundle of muscle fibers that does not relax, but remains taut.

Jaw rehabilitation

A temporomandibular dysfunction is a problem in the temporomandibular joint that may manifest as pain when moving the jaw (chewing, speaking, opening / closing the mouth) or as a clicking sound when opening or closing the mouth .

Jaw complaints are often accompanied by other complaints such as pain in the temple, ear or neck region.

The cause of this dysfunction is mainly found in the surrounding muscles, in the temporomandibular joint itself or in a combination of the two.

We specialize in treating:

- Snapping feeling or pain when chewing or speaking

- Clicking sound when opening / closing the mouth

- Limited mouth opening / blockages

- Pain in the sleep region and / or ear region
